LJFW, Ljubljana Fashion Week is often about the pomp and circumstance of the runway. However, in the midst of model euphoria there was an amazing intimate exhibit, titled NE[S]KONČNO_NEIZBRISLJIV (trans. INFINITELY_INDELIBLE), dedicated to the late Slovenia based fashion designer – Zoran Garevski. It took place in the atrium of the city hall of Ljubljana, 20 – 24 September 2016.
On 19 November 2015 the 3rd edition of the IDENTITY DRESS opened its door at the National Museum of Slovenia. A new selection of designers from around the globe, all focused in the same dress pattern, is enriching the atrium of the museum until 13 December 2015. For the third year in a row the exhibition got set up through the show.

Assaad Awad is, without a doubt, a distinctive name of the Madrid fashion scene. With his unique conceptual approach on design, bold aesthetics and uncompromising devotion in supporting craftsmanship, this IDENTITY DRESS 2014 designer has recently contributed to Museo del Traje, the garment museum of Spain. Based on a selection of designs by the legendary Cristóbal Balenciaga, Assaad created an hommage to “the master of us all”, as Balenciaga got respectfully labelled by the infamous monsieur Dior.
The following designers and brands have taken part in the IDENTITY DRESS project in 2013, 2014 and 2015.

Are we aware enough of our national history? Are we proud of it?
